Orion is named for the supernaturally strong hunter of Greco-Roman mythology, but depictions related to the constellation date back as early as 32,000 to 38,000 years ago to a prehistoric cave carving in West Germany. The prevalence of Orion as a reference point throughout time and culture illustrates a connectivity beyond the scope of each individual life.
